Each shade has been swatched without primer. I found the shades to be a little bit inconsistent. Some shades were incredibly pigmented and so easy to blend, while others were a tad chalky and difficult to to build up. Luckily, majority of the shades were relatively easy to work with. There were four matte shades which I actually really liked, and was surprised at how creamy they were. My favourite shades were the rose-gold type shades, which seemed to be the easiest and best to work with.

Oh wow...i love the shades. Each one of them are shades that everyone could use.
ReplyDelete The layout reminds me of the NARS NARSissist palette that came out a while ago. These neutral eyeshadow palettes are everywhere now! It's good to see more affordable local brands put their own versions out. I haven't tried any FOA eyeshadows but from the swatches, the shades seem to have decent pigmentation and at least there's plenty of variety with the 15 shades included.

I haven't tried this one but it looks decent for the price. The rose tones as you said look nice and the darkest shade looks good too. x www.beyoutyfulyou.com

I didn't know about this, but it certainly looks like a great bargain. Even if some shades are iffy, it would still be a better option to take away on holiday than the Chocolate Bar, in case something happened to it!

ReplyDeleteHi sweetie! Oooh I saw this in Priceline the other day, was tempted, but decided not to indulge. However your gorgeous piccies make it look even more tempting - LOVE the autumn theme ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteWow! This is such a beautiful palette, I love the shades they have included, I can't believe that it is under $20! What a steal!

I do love the look of this palette. And that sweet price tag. Unfortunately, I don't think the colours would show up very well on my skin. I'm currently saving for the NAKED palette form UD!
