March Favourites

March Favourites - Sweetaholic Beauty

Wow what a month. Unfortunately, March was not filled with as much joy as February was, but it was still a jam-packed month. My partner spent some extended time in hospital for testing, and I got to spend a lot of time with my new nephew and get to know him a bit better. (He's starting to smile and almost laugh now.) I was also lucky enough to attend Salon Melbourne and snag myself some beauty bargains.

March Favourites - Sweetaholic Beauty

A few goodies I've been loving this past month. I'm keeping in trend with including at least one non-beauty thing. It's a lot of fun hearing people's opinions and suggestions, too.

March Favourites - Sweetaholic Beauty

St. Ives Even & Bright Pink Lemon & Mandarin Orange Scrub

This has actually been in my bathroom for a while, but I've only just starting using it again. I find in conjunction with my current facial cleanser, it's really working a treat. I also really love the smell as it reminds me of pink lemonade. I'm actually considering it to be better than it's apricot alternative.

Enbacci Detoxifying Clay Mask

I've been a big fan of Enbacci since their release into the Australian market, and have worked with them throughout all of the Bloggers United AU events. They are a wonderful company who make pretty awesome skincare. Enbacci actually had a stand at Salon Melbourne this year so I couldn't resist picking up a full tube of their clay mask. I've been using this non-stop throughout March and my skin has been loving it.

Dessata Detangling Brush*

This detangler has become one of my favourites. I'd been using a cheaper alternative before, but after trialling this I've really come to see the difference. The brush itself is perfectly contoured to fit my hand, and the bristles just glide through my hair.

Furless Cosmetics Contour Body Blender Brush*

This was actually gifted in one of the Bloggers United AU goody bags. I've been using it ever since to apply loose translucent powder and find it works a treat. It's incredibly soft and gives such a stunning finish. I believe this is also a limited edition brush, so make sure you check them out!

ELF Cosmetics Tone Adjusting Face Primer

It's not secret that I suffer from redness. I use a lot of skincare which admittedly has helped the situation, but on occasion I still need a little extra help. I read about this primer being a favourite of bloggers on a few forums, and I have to say that after using it a handful of times, I'm hooked. Sadly the bottle is fairly small so expect to see it in my empties soon, but it does such a fantastic job at correcting colour and smoothing your skin in preparation for your foundation. Ticks all the boxes.

Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca Palette

I got this around Christmas time, and actually reviewed it here in January. I was sceptical about all the colours but lately it's been the only palette I'm reaching for. I'm especially in love with the matte shades in the centre. Not only do they blend like a dream, they are so complimentary that you don't need to look for shades elsewhere. They really are perfect for an easy neutral shaded smoky eye.

Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire

I've been rereading the Harry Potter series, and so far I'm up to The Goblet of Fire. This book in particular has really rekindled my love for the books. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan already so I must have read this particular book a hundred times, but at each turn of the page I still get a little thrill.
