July Empties

July Empties - Sweetaholic Beauty

Another month down - it's amazing to see how quickly 2016 is going by. We are now mid-year and have only another six months to go. This month I have to say I did not use up many products at all. I was actually considering waiting until next month and doing a combination of July and August - but I figured I had more than three things, so why not share now.

The minimal products I used up this month.

I decided to dye my hair darker again as it's much easier to manage when it's darker. I opted for my usual John Frieda Precision Foam Colour in 2N. I've been using this particular hair dye for many years now and absolutely love it. It gives the most natural shade, and whilst it may not last as long as some others on the market, I feel it doesn't damage my hair as much as others do. I also used up the mini John Frieda Conditioner that goes along with it. Both are absolute favourites of mine, and I will always repurchase.

A basic item you see almost every empty post - the Woolies Makeup Pads. These are my all-time favourites and work wonders with every product I use them with. I have tried other brands, but I am a bit fussy and find these to be the best. I already have more in my stash.

I also only used one bath bomb this month. I finally tried the Lush Experimenter - which was lovely but didn't make my bath a swirling galaxy like it promises on social media, but rather a murky brown shade. I'm not sure if I mixed it wrong, or if it wasn't as fresh as I thought it was. Oh well, better luck next time. It still smelt amazing so I would probably give it another go.

Last but not least, I finally finished off The Face Shop Herb Day Aloe Cleansing Foam. This was actually a favourite for a long time, and it lasted more than a few months. At first, I wasn't sure if I liked it, but it grew on me and was actually fantastic to use with my new Clarisonic. I will definitely consider picking this one up again once I've used up the other face cleansers in my collection.

Only a few empties this month, but hopefully I'll have some more in the next month or so. I love using up products because it means I get to try new ones.

Have you tried any of these products? If so, what are your thoughts?
