Egyptian Magic Cream Review

Egyptian Magic Cream Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

One of the first reviews I posted when I started my blog back in 2012 (gosh that seems so long ago now) was for Egyptian Magic Cream. That first review has since been deleted as my photography and wording weren't exactly professional.

But because I love Egyptian Magic Cream so much, I decided I would do a new review featuring the product - hopefully with better pictures this time.

Egyptian Magic Cream Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

Egyptian Magic Cream is described as an all purpose skin cream. I first discovered this cream many years ago when it was only available online and couldn't be purchased anywhere in Australia. My partner suffers from terrible eczema and so I was on the hunt to find anything that might work for him. To put things into perspective - he had seen several dermatologists and doctors and nothing seemed to work. Natural remedies, western medicine, voodoo (just kidding about the last one) nothing seemed to work. So I decided to grab a tub of this so even if it didn't work for him, I could still use it.

The stuff itself is rather oily and thick, and definitely heavier than an everyday moisturiser. I would probably describe it more as an ointment, in that it does leave behind a greasy/oily residue that eventually sinks into the skin. Because of its ingredients, it doesn't have any specific scent, but if I had to put my finger on it I would say it has a waxy smell. It's incredibly mild however and most of the time, I don't even notice.

The packaging is a little kooky and seems a bit gimmicky, but I like it. The product itself only contains six ingredients - olive oil, beeswax, honey, royal jelly, bee pollen and bee propolis. So a lot of bees were involved with making this stuff. It's 100% natural and is even handmade. Believe it or not, this stuff has been around for the last 20 years and has only now become more popular with celebrities and bloggers.

So, what's the outcome? My partner has suffered from eczema on his hands since his childhood. When I first met him, he was too embarrassed to even show his hands and would often avoid social situations. It was so bad that his skin would crack and bleed, and it was incredibly painful. Since using the Egyptian Magic Cream, his eczema cooled down almost overnight. It was less than a week of using it exclusively, once in the evening and once in the morning, this his hands were no longer painful or itchy.

Occasionally, he still gets the odd flare up. He doesn't even use Egyptian Magic Cream regularly anymore unless his hands flare up. Using the old method of twice a day, it calms down again within a few days.

I also use the Egyptian Magic Cream as an all purpose skin cream, including on my legs after I've shaved and occasionally on my face for an overnight hit of moisture. My sister uses it on her face to combat her acne, which works nicely for her.

Egyptian Magic Cream can also be used for healing burns, cuts and scrapes, as well fading scars. It can also be used for a huge list of other remedies, which can be found on their website. Being that I love this cream so much and am absolutely happy to endorse its use - I would definitely recommend giving it a go to see how you like it! Luckily, it is now available in selected Priceline stores across the country!

Have you tried Egyptian Magic Cream before? If so, what is your experience?

My partner, sister and I have all had incredibly positive experiences with Egyptian Magic Cream. Of course, everyone's skin is different though and our experiences should not replace medical advice.
