Priceline Hair Care Goody Bag

Priceline Hair Care Goody Bag - Sweetaholic Beauty

It's that time of year again folks; time for the Priceline Hair Care Goody Bag. It has been changed to "your haircare gift bag" but I'm still going to call it a goody bag. I've ensured to collect these bags since I started my blog n 2012 - and although I probably don't need any more hair care products, I couldn't pass up the opportunity for a good deal.

If you're unfamiliar, the Priceline Hair Care Goody Bag is pretty simple - spend a minimum amount, this year was $49, and receive this awesome goody bag for free. They also do this for skincare and cosmetics at some stage in the year. The minimum amount to spend on eligible products has increased from $40, but it's not too high so I'm not complaining.

All of the products we received this year. I have to say, it's looking a bit more jam-packed than the goody bag from last year.

We received three masks in total. First up is the Brite Cosmetics Masque which is designed for split ends. They do an entire range of different ones, but this one is definitely going to be useful to me. We also got single sachet versions of the Marc Anthony Nourishing Argan Oil of Morocco Treatment and Hask Charcoal with Citrus Oil Purifying Deam Conditioning Treatment.

I was excited to see the Essano Argan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner pack also included - although they are large deluxe sizes, they will definitely get used. There was also the deluxe sizes of the Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner.

As for hair tools, I got the Scuni Headbands in a four pack, and a Models Prefer Smooth and Shine Big Hair Teaser Pack. I was just thinking the other day how handy some material headbands would be, so I'm glad to see these in the bag. I also think the Big Hair Teaser pack is a pretty cool idea.

I've been needing to a get a smoothing product, so I was happy to see the John Frieda Frizz Ease in this pack; a product I have used and loved in the past. There was also the Garnier Fructis Full and Luscious Volume Booster which should make for an interesting product to try, as well as a deluxe sample of the Batiste Hold Me Hairspray which is a staple in my handbag.

Included in the goody bag was also three different brands of dry shampoo; including Cedel Dry Shampoo for Light Hair, Co Lab Dry Shampoo and Batiste Dry Shampoo. All of these bottles were deluxe sample sized.

There was some lovely treatment based products in here as well, one that I'm keen to try is the OrgX E Penetrating Oil. There was also a Viviscal Gorgeous Growth Densifying Shampoo to help with thickening my hair. I can't wait to start using this to see if it works. I was also pretty keen on the L'Oreal Elvive Colour Protect Intensive Conditioner as I do colour my hair often.

I was delighted to see some fun goodies also included, albeit only two. I was intrigued by the Colour Addict Spray In Hair Chalk for which I received pink - only my favourite colour! I also got the Schwarzkopf Live Colour Semi Permanent Pastels in which I received Cool Grey. I don't think this would be enough for my entire head of hair (which is also too dark to dye lighter right now anyway) so I might pass this one on to a friend.

For the smaller samples, I was pleased to only see this duo of ProVoke Touch of Silver Brightening Shampoo and Intensive Conditioner. The size is still decent enough to test out and decide if you want to buy the bigger size. I'll be passing this on to my mum who has bleached blonde hair as I think the toning benefits will suit her more than me.

Last but not least, the glorious coupons. There was only two for a complete free item, both of them being hair dye; but the other few had pretty decent discounts.

As for my haul, I picked up a few goodies to get me above the $49 mark. Firstly, I picked up my Holy Grail shampoo and conditioner duo - the L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Shampoo & Conditioner (you can read my full review/rave here) as well as the L'Oreal Elvive Fibralogy Thickening Treatment to try out as well. I picked up a box of the good ol' John Frieda Precision Foam Colour which is the only box dye I'll use these days, and lastly I grabbed two of the Brite Cosmetics Masques; one for lifeless hair and one for stressed hair.

Overall I think this bag has been incredibly awesome and has definitely surpassed all the previous years in my opinion. I will definitely get use out of most of the products, and those that don't appeal to me will be gifted to friends and family who I know will give them some love.
