Lady Jayne Flexi-Band *

I'm a sucker for headbands, but I really don't like the pain that's associated with wearing them for an extended period of time! Even though I have bangs, I still like to keep my hair up when I have a shower/bath, or when I'm wearing a face mask, so I'm always on the lookout for something to keep my hair up other than pesky bobby pins! (Anyone find they death to your nail polish?)

When I was asked to try out the new Lady Jayne Flexi-Band, I jumped on the chance!

The Lady Jayne Flexi-Band is specifically designed to mold to the shape of your head to avoid any pain or stretching associated with other headbands! It also holds nice and secure so as not to pull at your hair! The headband has tiny little teeth to keep your hair in place without hurting you, or pulling out your hair at the same time, and keeps your hair in place all day long!

I do believe you can get this in a colour other than black, similar to what the model is wearing, so you're not stuck with plain old black if you think it's too boring! Personally I love the black, as I have dark hair already (and sometimes black, if I decide to dye it) so it goes with my hair to give a more natural and grown-up look.

As you can see, the flexi-band is holding my hair nicely in place. I found when using it for extended periods of time, I didn't experience the same pain I do with other headbands - so this is definitely a winner in my books. I liked that it kept my fringe back all day, I find with some other headbands, my fringe eventually falls out and I end up looking a bit silly. My hair stayed put all day with this one, and didn't pull at my hair either if I needed to adjust.

Overall, I'm really happy with this headband! It's the perfect addition to my beauty routine and makes life so much easier when trying to keep my hair back (including saving my manicure!) It's really easy to just slip on, it's not fiddly at all and it stays in place. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who needs (or likes) to keep their hair back like this, or anyone who just loves headbands!

The Lady Jayne Flexi-Band retails for $5.99 and is available in Priceline, Big W, Target, K-Mart and selected pharmacies!

Have you tried the Lady Jayne Flexi-Band? If so, what did you think?

  1. I'm so glad you posted this. I saw it in Priceline the other day and was thinking of getting it. But headbands always annoy me, even though I love the look of them.

  4. I always wear a headband under my shower cap to keep my unruly hair in place a bit. I tend to wear fabric ones but I might want to give this a try. You should be a sales woman, Jasmine. I think you could sell me anything. X

  12. Are the three bands on this able to sit separately - each one a little bit apart from the other? I see in your photo the bands are all lying very close together. I'm looking for a (comfortable) headband that has separate bands (so it looks like 2 or 3 headbands but it's actually one). Hope that makes sense! Thanks :-)
