August Violet Box

VB1

Ahh, Violet Box! I'm getting more and more excited to receive this box every month! While still fairly new (I think we're on box... three?) the contents of each box have been pretty darn impressive!

I love the chosen design of their box; the gorgeous purple ribbon is a really nice touch!

VB2

All the goodies this month!

VB3

ghd Style Heat Protect Spray

It's no secret that I absolutely love my ghd (or well, both of them... read more here) but believe it or not, I've never tried any of the other products from ghd. I've seen this Heat Protect Spray around for a while but have never thought to give it a go! This is an impressive inclusion, and definitely something that will get used by both myself and my boyfriend!

VB4

Dr. Bragi Age Management Moisturiser

This is such a cute little sample of a super luxe moisturiser (huge price tag for the full sized product, that's all I'll say!) and I can't wait to try it. Even though I'm still fairly young, I've been noticing a few tiny lines emerging on my once youthful face that I'd like to stop in their tracks, so I can't wait to test this out.

VB5

Goldwell Dual Senses Rich Repair Shampoo & Conditioner

Although I hate sachets (although I have a feeling I'm going to start loving them the more I travel) I really liked the colour lock shampoo & conditioner I tried from the Goldwell range! My hair is in no way damaged but could always do with a little extra richness so I can't wait to see how this goes!

VB6

Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush in Cranberry

Ohhhhh my gosh, how adorable is this! Jelly Pong Pong is a brand based in the UK that specialise in cruelty free products, and which I personally feel are absolutely adorable! I love the colour of this, and actually swatched it immediately (something I never do, as I need everything to look perfect for photos) and was really impressed with how creamy and lovely it felt on my skin!

VB7

Jelly Pong Pong 2-in-1 Eyeliner & Shadow in Bronze
When I first picked this one, I wasn't too excited about the colour. I'm not sure why, I just wasn't. But because I was so excited to actually have some Jelly Pong Pong products, I also swatched this - and boy was I impressed! It was so creamy and pigmented and the colour was gorgeous! I'll definitely be doing a full review on this soon!

Overall I'm fairly pleased with this month's Violet Box. They're doing a great job in bringing in some brands that aren't readily available on Australian shores! I was happy with this box as everything in it will definitely get used! Well done, Violet Box!

Have you received your Violet Box yet? If so, what did you think? Do you like the look of this month's products?
