The Lip Product Addict Tag

LP1

A little while ago I was tagged by the gorgeous Kate from The Minted Beauty to do the very fun Lip Product Addict Tag! I've also just been tagged by Sophie from Born to Buy, so I decided it's definitely time to do this tag!

I'm a big of a lip hoarder, so a lot of these questions were a bit hard to answer, but I tried my best!

LP2

1. Favourite Lip Balm/Lip Treatement

My all time favourite lip balm is the Lush Ultrabalm. Not only is it the perfect lip balm for dry and cracked lips, it can also be used for a number of other things! This is super cheap, and lasts forever!

LP3

2. Best Eye Catching Red

I decided to go a little different with my eye catching red. I chose Revlon's Cherry Ice, which is more of a glittery blue based red. I always get complimented when I wear Cherry Ice, because it gives me a "my lips but better - way better" look with just one sweep of colour!

LP4

3. Best Luxury and Best Drugstore

My luxury pick was Illamasqua's Flare*, one of my most worn oranges. This can be super bright, but it can also be toned down and worn as more of a stain. For drugstore, I always reach for my Rimmel London's Guest List as it's the perfect my lips but better shade.

LP5

4. Best MAC Lipstick

My MAC lipstick collection is very small, as in I have less than five. I picked up Chatterbox in Hong Kong and have loved it ever since. It's such a perfect pink, and oh so pigmented!

LP6

5. Most Disappointing

I usually never buy cosmetic products without researching them first, but on the off chance I end up buying something without researching it, or end up buying something that didn't live up to the review I read, I usually either pass it on or chuck it out. Unfortunately, my most disappointing lipstick is the Savvy by DB in Cherry. I bought this without research, and only for a costume party, and I've never worn it since as it wasn't that great. The other colours might be better, but this one wasn't amazing.

LP7

6. Liner - Yes or No?

I'm not somebody who bothers with liners in a day to day situation, however I think that liner really does make all the difference. I love my lip liners, but I'm just so lazy. My liner choice, as in my favourite and most worn liner, is the NYX Lip Liner in Coral.

LP8

7. The Best Gloss

I absolutely dislike lip gloss these days! Back in my high school days, I used to slather that on like mad. Somehow I think I just outgrew it. However I have found a few lip glosses that I still like, one being the NYX Butter Gloss. They're non-sticky and really easy to apply, and look oh so lovely on your lips! The shade Creme Brulee is one of the more natural shades, so perfect for day to day wear!

LP9

8. Something Extra

I wasn't exactly sure it means by "something extra" so I picked my favourite lip product that isn't a gloss, or a lipstick. The Ulta 3 Lip Paint in Expressive Fuchsia* is one of my most worn non-gloss non-lipstick products! It's such a pretty colour, and dries semi-matte, which means it stays all day long and doesn't budge!

LP10

Swatched: Cherry Ice, Flare*, Guest List, Chatterbox

LP11

Swatched: Cherry, Coral, Creme Brulee, Expressive Fuchsia*

So there we have it, the Lip Product Addict Tag and all my answers! This was pretty difficult to do, seeing as though I have so many lip products, but it was also pretty fun!

I'm not going to tag anybody, because I always feel like I'm forgetting people - so if you want to do this tag, by all means do it! I'd love to read your answers, so if you do the tag or have already done it, feel free to link me to your post so I can have a read!

Again, thank you Kate and Sophie for tagging me!

  2. When never knew that Ulta does lip products too! We thought they only make nail polishes! This looks quite interesting though. We'll have to hunt this down. Did you pick it up at chemist warehouse?
