Brand Focus: Glamourflage Skincare*

Glamourflage Skincare Brand Focus Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

A little while ago, I received a few pieces from the Glamourflage Skincare range, so I thought I would share my thoughts. I've only been using these for a few weeks now, so it will be more a first impressions review.

Glamourflage Skincare Brand Focus Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

The brand itself is very vintage inspired and reminds me of a few other brands on the market, but still maintains it's own charm. I adore the names of the products, and find this a very cute addition to the packaging.

I tried out four products from the Glamourflage Skincare range, and I'll go through them one by one and share my thoughts.

Glamourflage Skincare Ravishing Ruby Foaming Cleanser Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

Ravishing Ruby Foaming Cleanser

I love a good foaming cleanser, but it's been a while since I've used one. I loved the pump bottle, it was really easy to use and pump out your desired amount of product. I found just one or two pumps was plenty for me. I feel like this one smelt a little bit like something you might find in your Nanna's bathroom, but not in a bad way at all. It reminded me of the old vintage soaps that were just for show. It's very pleasant though and not at all overwhelming.

Upon applying it to my skin, I was truly surprised to find how nourishing it was. Majority of foaming cleansers I have tried in the past cause the skin to feel tight but this one felt soft and lovely on my skin, and didn't leave me feeling dried out or too tight. I was really pleased with the Ravishing Ruby Foaming Cleanser, and this is definitely one I would purchase again in future.

Glamourflage Skincare Tiara Tracey Facial Toner Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

Tiara Tracey Facial Toner

Lately, I've been spoiling myself by only using spray on toners, so I was a tad disappointed when this didn't come in spray form. However, it has a great drip type opening at the top of the bottle to make it easier to only get a little bit of product out, rather than just a regular bottle. In terms of scent, I really liked this one. It has a very interesting cucumber scent, which is a little bit strong in the bottle, but not at all once you apply it to your skin.

I was impressed at how quickly it absorbed into my skin and didn't leave any kind of residue or film. Sometimes when I start using a new toner, my skin likes to have a bit of a tantrum. However, upon starting the Tiara Tracey Facial Toner, my skin adapted very quickly and is loving it.

Glamourflage Skincare Luscious Lucy Face Cream Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

Luscious Lucy Face Cream

This face cream is actually in a cute little tub. Depending on your preference, this may be a deal breaker for some people. I prefer my face cream in a pump dispenser, but I'm not overly fussed when it comes in a tub instead. This one smelt a lot like Johnson's Baby Powder to me, which made it really pleasant to use. The scent isn't too strong, either.

A little goes a long way with this face cream, and I know this will last me for a long time. I found that it wasn't a heavy cream, but it wasn't the lightest I've tried either, so I suppose it would be good for both day and night application. The Luscious Lucy Face Cream was a lovely all-rounder.

Glamourflage Skincare Daisy Delight Lip Balm Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

Daisy Delight Lip Balm

The cutest lip balm ever. I love a lip balm in tin form with a screw top lid, as it makes it so much easier to keep it in your handbag without the worry that your lip balm will go everywhere.  This is supposed to be cherry flavour, but when I opened it, I decided it smelt exactly like Redskins lollies. (I always think things smell like candy though!)

I was impressed with how nourishing this lip balm was. This one contains beeswax and lanolin oil to help soften your lips, and also contains vitamin E to help keep your lips healthy. When I first apply it, it does feel a tad waxy until you let it sink in. I wouldn't say this actually tastes like anything either, which is great for those who hate flavoured lip products. The Daisy Delight Lip Balm is a great lip balm and perfect for the cold weather.

After trying a few products from the Glamourflage Skincare range, I would definitely be interested in trying out other products from the range. This is a range I had not heard about until just recently, and they are worth checking out if you're in the market for something new. They're also Australian made, which is a huge plus in my books!

You can check out their full range on their website, where you can also get free shipping when you spend $50 or more!

Have you tried anything from the Glamourflage Skincare range? If so, what are your thoughts? Does this look like a brand you would potentially try?
