Lush Life's A Beach Body Scrub Powder*

Lush Life's A Beach Body Scrub Powder Review - Sweetaholic Beauty

A few months ago, I attended the Lush Save The Reef campaign event at Melbourne Central. This campaign was all about saving our beautiful natural wonder, The Great Barrier Reef, which is sadly being destroyed a little more every day.

Lush created a beautiful product called Life's A Beach - a body scrub powder inspired by this campaign. This product was limited edition, so sadly you can't buy online anymore but you may still be able to find it in some stores.

The body scrub itself looks a lot like sand. There's a good reason for that too, as one of the main ingredients is actually sand. I was lucky enough to see this scrub being made, and it was so easy and simple, and smelt absolutely amazing. It has a very unique scent that I can't exactly put my finger on, but it definitely reminds me of the beach.

Life's A Beach is described as a Body Scrub Powder - which was a bit strange sounding at first, but once you actually try it, you understand why. This is like picking up incredibly fine sand, and rubbing it onto your body. Once wet, it becomes fairly grainy and scrubby. You can add just a little water for a super rough scrub, or a lot for a smoother and softer scrub.

After using it, my skin feels soft and smooth. The scent left behind is very subtle, but it does stick around for a little while. This is also great for sensitive skin and doesn't aggravate my skin if I have razor burn or other irritations.

I love how the tub actually let's you know about the campaign and about the charities working hard to try and save the reef. As you can also see from the ingredients, this is super natural and has only a few ingredients.

I've been using Lush Life's A Beach Body Scrub Powder for almost two months now, on and off, and I'm totally in love. I'm devastated that I didn't stock up more on this one, as I haven't seen it in any of my local stores since. I honestly wish that Lush would bring this out again, as I would definitely be buying more of it.

I have seen that this product may still be available in overseas stores, but the scent is actually different to our original version.

Have you tried Lush Life's A Beach Body Scrub Powder? If so, what are your thoughts? Do you wish they would bring this product back as part of their permanent range?
