Illamasqua has to be one of my favourite brands, and so when I was given the chance to check out the newest Christmas collection, particularly the Fatale palette, I was very excited! I actually had not seen anything from the new collection before receiving this, so this was a little bit of a surprise for me!
Naturally, the Fatale palette comes in the gorgeous signature Illamasqua compact case, black and sleek!
At first glance, I was in love! The colours look so versatile that they could be used in winter as well as summer for the perfect look!
All four colours do have a slight shimmer, but aren't over the top! (Who doesn't love a bit of shimmer over the holidays, though!)
The above swatches are with just one swipe of my finger. I think they are fairly pigmented, and are really buildable to create a more defined look. I can't choose a favourite shade, because all of them are just so me! This is probably one of my favourite palettes out of all the ones I own - the colours are just something I would wear on a daily basis and get a lot of use out of!

While the colours are fairly unique, and possibly not everybody's taste, I find this a beautiful and perfect palette for this Christmas! The colours are so useful all year round, too, so it's not something that's too glittery that you need to put it away until December! I received other products from the Illamasqua Christmas collection also, so stay tuned for more reviews!
The Illamasqua Fatale palette costs £34.00 (which roughly comes to about $53AU) and you can buy it here.
Have you tried the Illamasqua Fatale palette? If so, what did you think? Do you like this collection of colours? Have you tried anything else from the Illamasqua Christmas Collection?

Me too, they are gorgeous! xx
DeleteThis is so lovely! It is nice to see some different shades, because as much as I love my brown and gold toned neutrals sometimes you just need a bit of excitement. I've never tried anything from Illamasqua but all their products look stunning. x
ReplyDeleteI agree, it's lovely and different! And Candice - you need to try some of their products! I would definitely recommend their blushes! xx
DeleteThese are gorgeous, perfect for this time of year. The colour pay-off doesn't look as good as I thought it would..
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! The pay-off is pretty good on the eyes though, particularly with a shadow helper, or even applied wet! xx
DeleteI haven't tried Illamasqua but they have the most pigmented/out-there blush and eye shadows in the department store!
ReplyDeleteOhh you must, their blushers are to die for, but their eye shadows are also awesome! xx
DeleteI've never tried Illamasqua eyeshadows but some of their past neutral palettes have been tempting. This one I personally probably wouldn't go for but I can how it would be exciting for those that are a bit more adventurous with colour :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a gorgeous palette but I know what you mean, the colours aren't exactly everybodies tastes! xx
DeleteGorgeous! Which just sums it up!
ReplyDeleteHaha very true! xx
DeleteWhat a gorgeous colour combo! I am too stingy/poor to try out Illamasqua but I do swoon over their products and love reading reviews on them :)
ReplyDeleteHaha they are a tad on the expensive side, but so worth it! xx
DeleteMystify and Bronx are gorgeous! Lovely colour selection in this quad - I'll have to check this out instore :)
