I actually didn't know they were colour coded based on hair type, so I ended up with the pink one because I thought it was cuter. Luckily the pink brush is meant for fine hair, which is exactly what I have, so it worked out for the best!
A little run down on what Michel was thinking when he created the brush!
The brush is super soft, and if you look closely you can see the bristles have different heights to help with the pressure that's put on your hair when you brush!
I have a bit of a problem that whenever I wash my hair, just one small part of my hair gets crazy tangled! It drives me crazy! Whenever I try to brush it out when my hair is wet, it hurts! If I leave it, and dry it like that, it goes all frizzy and still hurts when I brush it out! So when I picked up the Michel Mercier Detangling Hair Brush, I had really high hopes! After using it for the very first time, I was completely in love!
The brush was so easy to use, and would really glide through my tangles! Brushing my wet hair out took a lot less time, and was completely painless!

I would definitely recommend the Michel Mercier Detangling Hair Brush for anyone who struggles with tangled hair, or anyone who just wants a hair brush that feels nice in general! This has really helped reduce the amount of hair that breaks or falls out during the styling process, as well!
You can buy the Michel Mercier Detangling Hair Brush for $19.95 from Priceline, here.
Have you tried the Michel Mercier Detangling Hair Brush before? If so, what did you think?
i love tangle teezer, but i bet this is good hair brush too! and you should try tangle teezer, even though it doesnt have handle its pretty awesome and easy to use.

Yeah I've heard good and bad things, so I'm not sure. If I get a chance to try like a tester first, I might! xx
DeleteI've been thinking about getting a Tangle Teezer, but I do like that this one has the handle, so will definitely check it out.
ReplyDeleteYou should, this is also a lot cheaper than the Tangle Teezer - and available from Priceline! xx
DeleteI have and love the MM brush, it's so much gentler and effective than the tangle teezer! xx
ReplyDeleteOh yay, I'm glad! xx
DeleteI've always wanted to try a tangle teezer, but like you I'd much prefer the handled version. If I straighten my very long hair, it is a knotted mess the second I step outside! I am going to pick one of these up next time I'm in Priceline, thanks for the review x
ReplyDeleteOh noooo that sucks, definitely check this out, I think it'll help a lot! xx
DeleteWell now I just need this!
ReplyDeleteHaha hopefully you enjoy it! xx
DeleteSounds like it works really well! I didn't know it was a Tangle Teezer dupe. Will need to check this out next time I'm at Priceline :)
ReplyDeleteI've only heard good reviews about this one, whereas the Tangle Teezer has mixed reviews! xx
DeleteThis brush sounds amazing! I think I might need one!
ReplyDeleteLauren,

I think you might ;) xx
DeleteSounds amazing - this might be something to look into for post curling days!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely - let me know how you go! xx
DeleteThis has been out for quite a while.I think I bought it when I still lived in Sydney (over a year ago), but it was hiding in the hair section so it's easily missable. I like it more for my daughter than myself.
ReplyDeleteI love the Macadamia "No Tangle Styler Brush" more. It's a mix of the TT and this brush. It's smaller than this one, but still has the handle. I originally got it for my daughters hair but loved it so much that I stole it and gave her my TT
Here it is

I got mine from Price Attack for about $20.
Haha I'll have to try that one then, especially if you stole it from your daughter hehe! xx
DeleteMy sisters got these for Christmas so I'm waiting for their verdict on these brushes :P
ReplyDeleteHaha hopefully they like it! xx
