March of this year marks the one year anniversary of Her Fashion Box! I've now been subscribed to this box for an entire year now, and I couldn't be happier. Unfortunately the March box was delayed a fair bit due to the team at Her Fashion Box moving offices, however I can forgive them as they were constantly updating us on when our box would be posted out, so there was no confusion!
All the goodies included in the March box.
Solar Scarf
This scarf is absolutely gorgeous. It's a beautiful blue with moons and stars all over it, and it's a nice twist on the galaxy theme we're seeing a lot of lately. I'm a huge fan of the scarves from Her Fashion Box; they are huge and super warm, yet light enough to wear as a casual shawl in summer!
Shoot for the Stars Necklace
This is a really pretty necklace, and closer to something that I would have purchased myself. I love how shiny it is, and I can see this being easy to wear with a casual look, as well as more of a dressy look.
Spell It Out Ring
This ring was really frustrating to try and photograph, thus you're seeing it modeled by me! The ring is on the cheaper side, so it doesn't look ultra fancy, but it's still really cute and something I'd wear out on a day shopping, or layered with other rings and jewellery. The colour is beautiful, too.
Colour by TBN Lipstick in I Don't Kiss & Tell
At first glance, I thought this was a Revlon lipstick. Obviously the packaging is really similar, but this is actually from a brand called Colour by TBN. I've never heard of that brand before, so I'll be interested to see how this performs.
Designer Brands Outrageous Volume Mascara
I've tried a few DB products in the past and have never had any issues, but haven't tried a lot since their brand revamp. I'll also be interested to see how this goes.
Argania Hair Oil
I have actually received samples of this product in other sample boxes, and I've liked it in the past. It's a great size for travelling, so I'll keep this handy for next time!
Le Tan Fast Fan in Bronze
This is something I always seem to receive, but I never use. Although it's probably a nice product, I just never have the time to try tanning! I might pass this on to my sister as she's a big fan of this product!
Pumice Stone
This isn't mentioned in the little magazine, but it's a really nice addition! I've actually been meaning to purchase one of these for a little while now, so this really will come in handy! Thanks Her Fashion Box!
Last but not least, Her Fashion Box also gave us some lollies to help celebrate their first birthday!

Overall I liked this box, but I wouldn't say I was overly excited. Nothing extra special in this box, mostly discounted brands and deluxe sizes. I did like the accessories though! While I wasn't overly excited, I did still like the box so I'm definitely not complaining! I do still think I got my monies worth!
Have you received your Her Fashion Box yet? If so, what are your thoughts?

That scarf is stunning! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Linzi! They always make the prettiest scarves! xx
DeleteHmmm...I wouldn't be overly excited if I paid $40 for that box, only because the TBN brand is super cheap, like $2.50, Designer brands are very cheap too, and I'm so bored with fake tan. The scarf is beautiful, the jewellery is ok, and overall with the hair oil and pumice it's still good value, but not exactly thrilling. The scarf saves it!
ReplyDeleteYeahhh I know what you mean! The scarf definitely saves it! xx
DeleteI tend to agree with this. I was a bit disappointed receiving my box. My contents were slightly different because I chose the 'classic' style but mostly the products are the same. I think I was especially disappointed since we were promised it would be the biggest box ever for their birthday. There was nothing that differentiated this one from the others to be honest.
DeleteNice variety in this month's box! What is a Pumice Stone? That's the first I've heard of it. That scarf and necklace is gorgeous! And that lipstick does really look like a Revlon Lip Butter.

Behind The Frames
It's for removing the bad skin on your feet! It was a pretty good box though, wasn't it :)

I have Color by TBN polishes, didn't realise they had other stuff as well :)
ReplyDeleteOhh nice! xx
DeleteI think that scarf is really beautiful! In my opinion, the only good thing about the weather getting colder is the opportunity to wear scarves, I just love them! x
ReplyDeleteHaha I actually love winter, but I know you're more of a summer girl so I'm pretty happy to hear you say that haha :P xx
DeleteI thought it was a Revlon Lip Butter. It kind of miffs me how similar they look, but if they perform better than the Lip Butters, let us know! :D
ReplyDeleteYeahhh it's a bit odd, isn't it! I'll definitely give it a go, maybe even to a comparison post! xx
DeleteNice items....Some are good and some are not that much good....But overall it's a nice box......xoxoxo....^_^
ReplyDeleteYup so true, it's pretty average! xx
DeleteI love their scarves! Not quite worth the build up they were giving it, but certainly felt like a good box!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree, they were saying this would be their best box ever and I can remember some way better boxes! Still good though :)

It does seem a little rip-offy. TBN is like Ulta3 - sold in chemists for less than $3. I have that shade (I Don't Kiss & Tell), which is a very now soft fuchsia, but the quality is what you'd expect.
ReplyDeleteAnd although I *love* the print, I've never worn a scarf in my life. The ring is cute, though.
Ahh that's a bit of a shame. The scarf is so pretty, I like wearing them as shawls! xx
