Summer Must Haves

SMH1

Summer has just begun here in Australia (not sure about Melbourne though...) so I thought I might share a few of my Summer Must Haves! I personally dislike summer whenever it's here, but as soon as it's gone I start to miss the warm weather! I'm very sensitive (read: vain) about the way I look, and it can be pretty tough to stay perfect and sweat-free during the warm season!

Just a few of my favourite products to use in Summer!

Body Care

Neutrogena Beach Defence Water & Sun Barrier Spray*

First things first is to make sure you're actually protecting your skin. The last thing you want is to get so burnt you look like a red hot lobster for the rest of your summer! Not to mention the long term damage you'll be doing to your skin. It's just not worth skipping this step. Besides, the Neutrogena Beach Defence spray is also really fun to apply, so why not?

Bio Elixia Body Shaper Cellulite Contour Creme*

Cellulite, no thank you! I don't know about you but I hate bikini season. I hate people looking at my butt and seeing all that cellulite. I've been using Bio Elixia Cellulite Contour Creme for ages now and I find that it has really helped reduce the cellulite on my skin and give me an all over softer finish.

Dove Silky Nourishment Body Cream

Somehow I forgot to include shaving products in this post (perhaps that will be another post altogether) but it's extremely important that you find a nice, light body moisturiser to use after shaving. In the heat, I find that I get pretty bad rash burn, especially on the front of my legs. Not a pretty sight. To avoid that I make sure my skin is moisturised at all time, and the Dove Silky Nourishment Body Cream is smooth, light and it absorbs in no time.

Beauty Care

Rimmel London Wonder'full Mascara in Waterproof

Sweat plus makeup just doesn't mix. Rimmel London have brought out their fabulous new waterproof mascara just in time for mascara-running season! This baby has all the great aspects of my favourite Wonder'full Argan Mascara, with the added benefit of being waterproof. So when I'm a gross sweaty mess this summer, at least my mascara will look great.

Chapstick Every Day Lip Care

Even though the cold season is the time for chapped lips, it's still important to take care of your lips during the hot season. There's nothing worse than getting burnt lips. They're even worse than being chapped, they're yuck and they hurt. Just no. With the Chapstick Every Day Lip Care, you can protect your lips with SPF 15+ along with aloe vera and vitamin E to keep your lips looking lovely.

Rimmel London Matte BB Cream*

This is officially my favourite BB cream ever. When I was first sent this to try out, I set it aside for a long time and was convinced I'd hate it. I decided to finally try it out and realised how absolutely amazing this is. Not only does it give amazing coverage, it's so light and easy to apply. It also sticks around most of the day and doesn't slip and slide on my skin like some BB creams do. This also has an SPF 15+ to keep you protected for a short period of time in case you do forget to slip slop slap. (Although it does contain SPF 15+, never rely on sunscreen in your foundation/BB cream to protect you as well as regular sunscreen will!)

Smelly Care

Impulse Perfume in Illusions*

Summer means heat. Heat means sweat. Sweat means... smells. Unfortunately we all sweat, and it doesn't always smell so great. With such a gorgeous and neutral shade, Impulse is great for a quick spritz to refresh your scent and leave you smelling nice!

Nivea Anti-Perspirant Stress Protect

Summer isn't the only thing that makes you sweat; stress is also a huge factor when it comes to sweat. I find the Nivea Stress Protect is one of the best deodorants out there and keeps my smelling fresh for the longest. Because it's formulated to work best when you sweat a lot, this is the perfect choice for those long hot summer days!

I find that all of these products have not let me down so far, so I'm sticking with them. Summer is only just starting to heat up, so I'm glad I'm prepared! Do you have some favourite products that work well in the summer? Have you tried any of the above products? If so, what are your thoughts?
