Priceline Hair Care Goody Bag

PL1

Priceline has to be one of my favourite and most frequently visited stores. (For those of you unfamiliar with Priceline, it's Australia's leading "drugstore.") One great thing about Priceline is that they offer some amazing deals, one of their best being their free goody bag deals that the hold every year. In February last year, they held a free Hair Care Goody Bag with the minimum spend of $40, which is something they've brought back this year! This year's goodies came in a beautiful Model's Prefer bag, which is actually better than last years. You can see last year's bag here.

PL2

All the goodies that were included this month. According to the promotion, everything included this month was worth over $190 - which is pretty amazing.

PL3

Scunci Hair Chalk

This is very much like the Lady Jayne hair chalks that I tried out a while ago (you can read my full review here) so I'll be interested to try these out and compare.

Lady Jayne Hair Extensions

I was a bit sad to receive a pure white hair extension, as it's a little bit boring. I might pass this one on to my sister as she's been collecting them, so I think she'll appreciate it.

PL4

Organix Kukui Oil Curl Cream

I don't have curls, but I do often wear my hair curly so I'll more than likely use this. This one smells pretty delicious, as it contains coconut milk and sweet Jasmine.

Cedel Conditioning Foam

I'm actually a bit confused as to what this is - it seems to be some kind of hydrating mousse for damaged hair. My hair can get fairly dry, particularly as I have dyed it a lot in the past six months, so I'll be really excited to see how this is.

John Frieda Precision Foam Colour After Colour Conditioner

This is my all time favourite conditioner, and I didn't actually realise it was free in this bag, so I bought another tube to spend enough to qualify. Either way, this is my go-to so I don't mind stocking up.

PL5

Toni & Guy Volume Plumping Whip

I love most things I've tried from Toni & Guy, so I'll be really interested in trying this out. I don't usually use products like this, but I'm happy to give it a go.

Pantene 3 Minute Miracle

I have a few of these treatments floating around my bathroom, so I really should give them a go. This one sounds pretty interesting and promises to give you an intensive miracle treatment in just three minutes.

L'Oreal Elvive 1 Minute Miracle

Hmm, this minute miracle seems to be a bit of a thing in the haircare world, it seems. This basically promises the same thing, only in one minute. Might be fun to compare which does the better job.

PL6

Lee Stafford Poker Straight Flat Iron Protection Shine Mist

I actually already own this particular shine mist, but in a full size. It was far too big for me to take travelling with me, so it'll be great to have this handy travel sized bottle instead.

Batiste Dry Shampoo XXL Volume

This is my all time favourite dry shampoo, so I'm really excited to get a mini can of this. The usual can is way too big to take anywhere, so this is far more travel friendly.

Klorane Dry Shampoo

I have so many of these, so I really should be trying them out. I have about three or four of these mini cans, so I think it's about time I tried them out.

Schwartzkopf Essence Ultime Omega Repair Shampoo & Crystal Shine Conditioner

I'll be really interested to try these out, as I have heard pretty good things. Developed with Claudia Schiffer means it's probably good, as her hair is pretty amazing.

PL7

Coupons

This also included coupons for a free Crema Color Tube, a free Revlon Colorsilk and discounts on some of the John Frieda products.

PL8

My haul

I purchased just a few things, and made it just to the $40 mark. As I mentioned before, I grabbed the John Frieda conditioner. I also grabbed the Toni & Guy shampoo and conditioner duo for damaged hair. I won't lie, I was a bit biased by the gorgeous packaging. I also picked up some Lady Jayne hair ties and bobbi pins - staples!

--

Overall, I think it was a pretty good bag for the price. Being that it's completely free, providing you spend a minimum amount. $40 is pretty easy to spend in Priceline as it is, so this is a great deal. I can't say whether or not the products were better than last year, since it doesn't seem too different to me.

What do you think? Do you think this year was better, or last year? Have you tried any of the above products? If so, what did you think? Did you get this year's Priceline Hair Care Goody Bag?
