September Empties

September Empties - Sweetaholic Beauty

Last week, I promised you all that I'd be back. Then I forgot to upload yet again. Oops. As I mentioned in my last blog post, I have actually started a brand new job so I'm pretty gosh darn pooped.  I also had a huge week of after-work and weekend activities, which meant pretty much no time for blogging. Another oops.

Better late than not at all, I decided I would share my empties nonetheless. I've made sure to only include the products I used up in September so that I can publish a regular empties post. I'm actually pretty proud of how many products I used up last month, though.

September Empties - Sweetaholic Beauty

A few everyday items I used up - firstly the Boots Laboratories Optiva Radiance Refresh Tonic*. I was actually a little bit in love with this toner. I usually opt for a spray toner but this one was so good that I still continued to use it. I wrote a full review of this one here. I also ended up using the entire bottle of my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. I'm a big fan of this micellar water as it's on the cheaper side but still works incredibly well. I've already got a few other variations stocked up. I also finished up the Dove Original AntiPerspirant Deodorant* with my partner. Admittedly he used most of it as I still use my natural deodorant, but I used it on and off. He won't use any other brand now, so I guess we'll be buying this again.

A few Lush goodies made it into my empties pile this month, including two bath products. The Yuzu & Cocoa Bubbleroon was big, bright and yellow. It smelt amazing but sadly I found a number of bubbles were a bit lacklustre. I'm not sure I'd grab that one again. I also finished off the Big Bang Bubble Bar in a few bath sessions and found the bubbles to be on the lower side with this one too. I'm not sure if maybe I grabbed a dud, but it was a little boring. Smelt nice, but not much else going for it.

In terms of hair care, I finished off the Jersey Bounce Shampoo* which I actually loved. I'm sad to see this one missing from my shower, so I will definitely consider grabbing this again.

A few other bits and bobs; an empties regular, the Woolies Makeup Remover Pads are awesome. I'll continue to buy these, of course. I also finished off my Colgate Total Waxed Dental Floss. I have terrible teeth and sadly a few missing, so flossing is absolutely essential to me. I will definitely be grabbing this again.

Sadly, I also had to throw away my Max Factor Xperience Foundation. I have used this maybe only once or twice but sadly it became separated in the tube and has become completely unusable. No amount of shaking has brought it back to its former glory, so sadly this one is headed straight to the bin.

Last but not least, I used up two of my favourite things to use in the shower. My Manuka Biotic Refreshing Clean Body Wash* was so different to other shower gels I've used in the past. It was a little bit like jelly and had a lovely honey scent. I'm sad to see this go and would definitely consider buying it to use again. I also finished up my go-to cleanser, the Rosehip Plus Organic Daily Cream Cleanser*. I started using this with my new Clarisonic and it was working perfectly. I'll definitely need to invest in another tube soon.

Have you used up any empties over the past month? Have you tried any of the above products? If so, what are your thoughts?
