Best High Coverage BB Creams

Best High Coverage BB Creams - Sweetaholic Beauty

I'm on a spending ban - sadly it's not much of a choice but at the moment it's necessary for me to keep my money for rent and bills. This will soon change and I'll have a little more freedom, but for now, I've been shopping my stash.
Personally, I love full coverage makeup. It just looks so much cleaner and I hate my uneven skin tone shining through usually. I have more than few BB creams - and I was wondering why I even bother because usually, they are too sheer to really do anything much. So I thought I would show a few BB creams with higher coverage that I've been loving lately.

I've selected three BB creams that I've been using for the past few years, and that are usually on high rotation. All three have relatively high coverage and go on like a dream.

My first and favourite of the bunch is the SheerSkin Perfect Natural AA Base. I honestly don't remember how I even started using this (it may have been sent to me originally but this is my third tube now) but I love it. This one gives the absolute smoothest base and I often will use this as more of a primer when I'm doing a full formal look. But for a day to day look, this stuff is perfection. Sadly it's not readily available in stores so you would need to head online to find it, but it is oh so worth it. The formula is incredibly wet, but it dries to almost a powder finish.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Rimmel London BB Cream Matte when I originally tried it. For me, Rimmel London is hit and miss with their base products. I either absolutely adore them, or I hate them. Luckily, I absolutely adored this one. Not only does it already contain a low level of SPF, it's super comfortable to wear and so breathable. My skin just loves this stuff. I also love how light the shades go. I think I'm on my fifth tube of this.

The Dusty Girls Earth Cream* is probably the latest addition to my collection but it was from some time ago. I'm still on my first bottle because there is loads of product in here! This particular cream is like a mousse foundation and goes on a bit thick, but is easily spreadable. I'm really happy with how light this shade is because it's very hard to find BB creams that actually work for pale gals.

Swatches: SheerSkin, Rimmel London, Dusty Girls
As you can see, the SheerSkin Perfect Natural AA Base is a little bit watery and does need time to set; whereas the Rimmel London BB Cream Matte goes matte right away and looks fantastic straight away if you're in a rush. The Dusty Girls Earth Cream* gives a bit more of a dewy look which is great for a more natural finish.

I've been using these three on rotation lately, so don't be surprised to see these in my empties in the next few months. My go-to for everyday looks would probably be the Rimmel London BB Cream Matte as it's the easiest and quickest to use.

Have you tried any of the above BB creams? If so, what are your thoughts?
