Fountain Skin Care

I was lucky enough to be sent a few samples from an Australian company called Fountain, which specialise in skincare! I've spent the last few weeks slowly testing out the skin care separately, so I could be sure of their immediate individual results! Now that I'm done, it's time to share the results!

The cute little welcome pack I received.

In total I got six different samples;

Think C Serum

What They say:

"Think C Serum
helps to restore skin hydration and elasticity, assists in fading age spots, repairs dry and damaged skin and should be used as a safe-guard against the damaging e ffects of environmental free radicals such as sun exposure, air pollution, smoke and pesticides."

What I say:
I think the Think C Serum was my favourite out of all the samples I tried out! It smelt delightfully like orange (so if you hate oranges, like my boyfriend, I would suggest you not try this!) and was very lightweight on the skin! Long term I can see this really helping out with oiliness and keeping the pores clear, but short term, it was a lovely sweet treat for my skin!

You can buy a 30ml bottle for $58 from here.

Skin Exfoliant

What they say:

"A non-abbrasive, leave-on exfoliant designed to give the skin a fresh, healthy look, while it evens the texture, tone and colour. Skin Exfoliant contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids - both Glycolic Acid and Lactic Acid - which work on removing and preventing the build-up of dead skin cells minimising fi ne lines, discolouration and dry spots."

What I say:

This was my second favourite! When I use a skin exfoliant, I want to feel it working - and I definitely felt this one. I find with a good skin exfoliant, you get the almost burning sensation on your skin. There is no pain, but you can feel it tingling away all the dirt and grime! This skin exfoliant gave me that sensation, and the moment I washed it off, my skin felt amazing! It felt refreshed and beyond clean, this is something I would definitely buy as a full size product.

You can buy a 75ml tube for $38 here.

Cleansing Balm

What they say:
"A soothing, refreshing balm that thoroughly cleanses your skin, leaving it with a smoother, softer and revitalised texture. Featuring a mix of healing anti-inflammatories, protective anti-oxidants and rejuvenating Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Cleansing Balm removes impurities and treats your skin without stripping away natural protective oils."

What I say:

This one definitely does exactly what it says it does! My skin felt a great deal smoother after using the cleansing balm, and it left my skin feeling really refreshed. I think with long term use this would probably help my rosacea.

You can buy a 250ml bottle for $38 here.

Total Moisture

What they say:

"Total Moisture forms a protective moisture-absorbing barrier, minimising Transepidermal Water Loss (TEWL), having a skin plumping and firming effect. Squalane (a moisturising anti-oxidant) helps reduce the damage caused by UV exposure, strengthening Milk Peptides boost collagen production and revolutionary Snake Venom reduces the muscle movement that cause facial lines."

What I say:

This one sounds pretty awesome, especially when it states it uses Snake Venom! However this one actually made me break out. Although this is no fault of the actual product, as I have oily/combination skin and this is specifically for dry skin - I did not realise this until after I used it. The fact that it created more natural oil in my skin however is a plus, as that's exactly what it's supposed to do - only on dry skin, it wouldn't cause break outs! Definitely recommend for people with dry skin!

You can buy a 50ml tube for $55 here.

Actual Moisture

What they say:

"Light protective moisture for skin prone to producing oil. Hydrate, refine and regenerate with an intelligent blend of anti-oxidants, vitamins, botanical extracts and natural Alpha Hydroxy Acid’s with ingredients including Grape Stem Cells, Peptides, Argan Oil and botanical astringents. Actual Moisture improves smoothness of the skin and refines the appearance while reducing greasiness."

What I say:

This one was a lot better than the Total Moisture! This one didn't make me break out at all, probably because this one is actually formulated for normal to oily skin types. It was definitely a light moisturiser and not too heavy, which is something I definitely look for in a moisturiser! Anything too heavy will clog oily pores and make me break out. I think with long term use this would help the oiliness, because on the few times I did get to use it, I did notice less oil build up in my t-zone and other notoriously oily areas!

You can buy a 50ml tube for $45 here.

Think B Serum

What they say:

"A nourishing light-weight serum formulated to give your skin a plumper, firmer texture and a brighter, lighter appearance. Containing Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Think B Serum reduces skin water loss, allowing for increased hydration, elasticity and firmness."

What I say:

With this one, I felt the "tightness" they're talking about! It wasn't a horrible feeling, but I could certainly feel the serum doing it's job! This would probably be a fantastic product to use long term, but unfortunately it was only a few times for me! But as I've said before, I really like to have a product that feels like it's doing something, and this was definitely one of them!

You can buy a 30ml bottle for $58 here.

So overall; what did I think?

I really liked them! It was a shame that they were only sachets, because I think a lot of the products had fabulous potential to really show me some results! But I'm happy I did get a chance to try out these samples as a few of these items can be rather pricey! I think I'll definitely be picking up a few of them, as I'm excited to see some long term results!

I would recommend these, however when choosing skin-care, just be careful in what skin type it's best suited for!

You can buy any of these products, and more, from their website! So make sure you check them out!
