Lush Cosmetics Sikkim Girls Body Lotion *

LS1

Rewind back to the end of last year, and I'm sure you'll remember all the amazing limited edition Christmas release products from Lush. I know I do. When I was lucky enough to attend the Lush Christmas Event, (which you can read about here.) I was given a goody bag filled to the brim with amazing products, one of them being the Limited Edition Sikkim Girls Body Lotion.

LS2

At the time I had completely neglected Sikkim Girls, as it was summer and I was set on using my usual body lotion. I had a quick sniff and try of Sikkim Girls and deemed it far too thick and musky for the warmer weather.

LS3

Come winter, I've become addicted to the stuff! With cocoa butter, Darjeeling tea, vanilla pods and Jasmine flower, you can imagine it's very musky and heavy, so perfect for the colder weather. The scent is truly divine, and though some people may not really like it because of it's strength, I love it!

LS4

The cream itself is so thick and luxurious, it's truly a treat to apply. I feel like I have to be super generous though, so it means that I use up a lot more product than I usually would. I would probably describe it's consistency as more of a body butter rather than a lotion.

When using it, I find my skin is ultra soft and moisturised to the extreme! It does take a while to absorb, so this is not the best body lotion to use before putting on clothes. I like to use it right before bed, as the heavy aroma makes me really relaxed.

I'm in love with the Sikkim Girls Body Lotion and I truly wish this wasn't a Limited Edition item. I'm really hanging out for Christmas just so I can repurchase this in bulk, because it's really getting me through winter. I feel really bad blogging about this gorgeous lotion, seeing as though it's no longer available, but I just had to share the love and give you all a head start on your Christmas Lush wishlist!

Have you tried the Lush Cosmetics Sikkim Girls Body Lotion yet? If so, what are your thoughts? Does this sound like something you might pick up at Christmas time?
