August Empties

August Empties - Sweetaholic Beauty

I've been a bit quiet on the blogging from the past month, but I'm back and have a new schedule for this month - so expect to see more of me. I actually used up a load of products this past month, which is surprising, so this is a bit of a lengthy post.

August Empties - Sweetaholic Beauty

All the products I ended up using this month. So many products!

I was actually sent the Baimeni Hydrating Eye & Face Serum* to try out and I fell in love. Unfortunately for me, I had to finish up using this product early on as the bottle fell on my tiled bathroom floor. The glass shattered everywhere and long story short I was pulling glass out of my feet for a while afterwards. I did love this product though and would consider repurchasing. I also finished off my huge bottle of the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion +* which I absolutely loved. I was using it religiously for a while, and then it became a backup moisturiser for when my skin was acting out. I might need to go out and grab another bottle of this.

I was excited to finish off two mascaras this month. One of my favourites, the Covergirl Bombshell Volume Mascara* had finally dried up so it was time to say goodbye. This was a great mascara for special occasions as it really made my lashes pop. I would definitely try this one again. I also finished up the Rimmel London Scandaleyes Extreme Mascara*, which was the perfect day to day mascara. I'm sad to see this one go, and would definitely grab it again if it's still around. Both mascaras made it into my mascara rotation earlier this year.

I'm really sad to see this duo leave my collection. The L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Shampoo & Conditioner duo has been my favourite for just over two months now, and I can't rave about it enough. Check out my full review for more raving. I'll definitely be grabbing these again.

Body washes are always so satisfying to finish up, in my opinion. My partner and I finished off the Original Source Mint & Tea Tree shower gel like champs, and it's already been repurchased. He's usually opposed to my girlier smelling shower gels. I also finished off the gorgeous Weleda Revitalising Evening Primrose Body Wash* that I got from the Bloggers United event in Adelaide. This is their newest scent and I have to say I love it - I would definitely try it again. I have lots of other body washes to use up though first.

Gotta love a good bath, and surprisingly this month I only used one bath bomb. My bomb of choice is the Lush Cosmetics Lady Bird bath bomb*. This was cute but to be honest nothing special, so I probably wouldn't grab it again. For bath time I was also using the Natura Siberica Oblepikha and Honey Body Scrub* which has to be one of the most unique scrubs I've ever used. It was gooey but scrubby and just hit the all the right spots. I will definitely be grabbing this one again.

Although not necessarily broken or finished, I also decided to chuck my Schick Hydro Silk Razor. It was getting a bit yucky and I had a backup. This is one of my all time favourites. As usual, I also used up the Woolies Makeup Pads. Yep, there are more in my cupboard just in case.

I had a pretty crappy month so I was focusing on relaxation, which usually resulted in a nice hot bath and a face mask. I tried out the For Beloved One Mask* and I was really impressed. It was a sheet mask, which I usually find a bit fiddly, however, this one was easy peasy. I have a few more in my collection so I'll see how they go. I also used up my entire pot of the Swisse Manuka Honey Detoxifying Facial Mask. I'm so sad to see it finished off as it really has become one of my go-to face masks for when I'm oily or breaking out. I'll probably grab another one as it's so cheap anyway.

So many empties! Congratulations if you made it through the entire post. I now have a fair few new products in my routine so maybe we'll see some new product reviews coming soon!

Have you finished any products this past month? Have you tried any of the above products? If so, what are your thoughts?
