Inside the beautiful packaging is an absolutely gorgeous faux leather casing, which looks extremely professional! It's very sturdy and not at all cheap, and has the Ihana logo embossed into the faux leather.
Each brush has been designed to perfection, and are extremely professional. None of the brushes feel cheap whatsoever.
Every single brush in the kit is amazingly soft, to the point where it actually feels like natural hair. They are very luxurious to use also, and I had a lot of fun actually using them! They are so soft on the skin and very easy to keep clean.
Each brush also has "Ihana" and the brands logo stamped on the side of the handle, which also adds a nice professional touch.
This particular set is worth well over $200, however for either a professional make-up artist, or somebody who is just serious about their make-up like I am, I would definitely recommend investing in this set!
If you follow me regularly on Twitter, then you'll know that this particular brush kit has sent my brush numbers into the triple digits! But this set was worth every penny, and I'm extremely happy with them! This will definitely be the set that I use for extra-special occasions, as I have so much confidence in their performance!
Have you tried Ihana brushes before? Do you have a Holy Grail brush set you can't live without?
Love the packaging:) I really want a set of good matching brushes..I have a few from a lot of different brands and Im not in love with any of them.

I've never heard of Ihana, is it an Australian brand? They look nice and soft, if I ever come across them I might have to give them a try!

I believe they are an Australian brand, but the company that owns them is from the US (I think - their website is down so I can't double check, boo!)
DeleteBut they are amazing! If you ever get the chance, definitely give them a go! :)
xx
Love the packaging. Never tried them or heard of the brand but would love too try a few out. Nice recommendation!

OMG! Whats the brush count now?! I want a set :(
ReplyDeleteHehe 118!
DeleteYou should get the Coastal Scents kit! So many brushes for so cheap, and they ship everywhere! Plus the shipping us nowhere near as crazy as Sigma's! :D
xx
They look amazing!!! How comparable are they with sigma?
ReplyDeleteWow triple digit brush count?? that's a lot!
Hehe yep, 118 brushes!
DeleteI actually prefer the fluffier brushes in this kit than the ones in Sigma, like the big powder brushes, but for the smaller eye shadow brushes and foundation brush I prefer Sigma! Otherwise though they are fairly similar, I really like both! Although at the end of the day I do find myself reaching for Sigma as they feel more usable! (these ones I'm a bit scared to ruin or something hehe!)

I love the packaging! These are something I'd really like to try! xx
