February Empties

Can you believe that it's already March? It seems like only yesterday we were celebrating the new year! But with another month gone, comes another lot of products I've managed to finish off. I've found since I started my spending ban (you can read about that here) I've been finishing off more products I already own, rather than just buying new ones.

So, let's have a look at the products I managed to finish off this month!

Face of Australia Purifying Cleansing Wipes

I received this in both the January Bellabox (here) and the November 2012 Lust Have It (here) so I had two packets to use up. I ended up giving the second packet to my sister, who was in desperate need of some cleansing wipes at the time. I wasn't overly impressed with these cleansing wipes, but only because I've used far superior ones in the past. They weren't bad in the slightest, I just felt they didn't completely cleanse my face in a way the others had before. But, to be fair, I use cleansing wipes only to get rid of excess makeup on my face before using a liquid cleanser to remove the rest! So, they certainly did the job! Would I repurchase? If I am ever in need of some cheap cleansing wipes, I may pick these up again, but for now, while I have the money, I'll buy my preferred brands!

Dove Purely Pampering Nourishing Body Wash in Shea Butter with Warm Vanilla

I won't lie, I'm a huge fan of Dove products, especially the soap! I fell in love with the liquid soap after realising how much I loved the green soap bars by Dove. I discovered they had the same scent in liquid soap (which was cheaper) and gave it a go! Needless to say, it became a favourite! I actually received this body wash for free when I went to the Beauty Heaven Open Day,(which you can read about here) and I have been meaning to use it ever since!
Would I repurchase? You bet! I've had about three or four bottles of this in the green, and this scent was also amazing!

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Power-Clear Scrub

I reviewed this back in December (you can read that review here) and usually after I review a product, especially skin care, I finish up with it and move on to the next thing. But, this scrub really made my skin feel beautiful, and I had amazing results, so I felt compelled to keep using it up!

Would I repurchase? I have a lot of new skincare to test out, but I think once I finish up, I'll drift back to this one. But who knows, I could find something better along the way!

Rimmel London Match Perfection Cream Gel Foundation

I was absolutely horrified to finish this, as this has been my absolute favourite foundation for years! It's my go-to for special occasions as it gives me perfect coverage, and just matches my skin wonderfully! I don't have a bad word to say about this foundation, except maybe that I wish the little tub was never ending! Would I repurchase? I have had a backup sitting in my drawers for a while, but once that one is gone, I will buy this one again and again!

Lush Shower Gel in Ghost

This limited edition shower gel that was released as part of Lush's Halloween collection became a favourite of mine very quickly! It really lathers up well and the scent is just divine! I found that the scent of lilies lingered, which for me was great, but some people may not feel the same.
Would I repurchase? I already picked up a big bottle on the Boxing Day sales! I'll be sad when that one runs out, as I'll have to wait until October before I can buy more!

Artiste by Manicare Brush Cleaner

This is a cleaner for in-between deep cleans and works pretty well. I've had it for a long time, and rarely clean my brushes in between a deep clean because I'm very lazy! I started using it again and remembered why I stopped - it was almost empty! Lucky I had backed this up before my spending ban, so I'm making more of an effort to actually use it this time! Would I repurchase? Yes, but only because there aren't a lot of alternatives that are as easy to get as this. Buying this only requires me to walk into Priceline and spend about $15, rather than spending the big bucks on brands like MAC.

So there are my empties for this month! I'm happy to go through a couple of these things, as I'll have room for new products when my spending ban comes to an end! (New body wash!) So now that my favourite scrub is finished also, look out for some upcoming reviews on new products that I've been trying out!

Have you finished many products in the last month? If you've written an empties post, link me to it in your comments, I'd love to have a read!

Have you tried any of these products? If so, what did you think?
