September Violet Box

VB1

I have been very lucky this month, in that all my subscription boxes (aside from one) came within two days - that's two boxes a day! I was eagerly awaiting this month's Violet Box as they have really impressed me in the past!

VB2

It's a very nail oriented box this month!

VB3

Nutri Synergy NS-5 Cuticle & Nail Complex

I actually received this back in July in the Lust Have It Eco Box for Winter (which you can read about here)... and shamefully, I have yet to try it! My nails have actually been wonderful, so knock on wood, I won't actually need it any time soon. This will most likely go to my sister, or maybe even towards a giveaway!

VB4

Sinful Colors Polish in Timbleberry

I've been getting a lot of Sinful Colors recently, and I love them. I disliked the bottle when I first saw them, but once you have a bunch of them that match, it looks good! This colour is very much like many that I already own, but that really doesn't bother me in the slightest!

VB5

Eleven Australia Miracle Hair Treatment

Anything that has "miracle" in the title has to be good! I haven't heard much about Eleven, but I have heard a few things, so I'll definitely be interested in trying this one out!

VB6

The Vintage Cosmetic Company Slanted Tweezers

Oh I've heard a lot about this particular brand, which is based in the UK if my sources are correct! I've been drooling over some of their goodies on many a blog, so it's very exciting to see these gorgeous tweezers included! In my personal opinion, a lady can never have too many pairs of tweezers - as we always have hair that can be plucked!

VB7

The Vintage Cosmetic Company Emery Board

Oh, emery boards, how I love them! This one is almost too adorable to use (it has a gorgeous floral design on the back) but I'll still throw it in my handbag, as I always seem to misplace my work emery boards!

VB8

Timeless Truth Q-10 Caviar Nourishing Mask

I really can't wait to try this. In fact I think I'll use it this weekend! I love anything in gold packaging, as it just makes it look expensive - and this one looks amazing! (Especially with the word caviar in it!) I'm a big fan of masks, and now that the weather is getting warmer, I'm more inclined to use them as they are usually cool!

VB9

Special Offer - Swissdent

There was also a special offer for Swissdent products. I found this a little on the odd side as nothing from Swissdent was actually included in the box! I figured maybe there should have been a small sample, something to lure us into using the discount and buying the full sized products! Strange, but not uncommon! A good offer nonetheless!

So, I've read very mixed reviews on this month's Violet Box - but personally I liked it. While it wasn't amazing like the other boxes were, I'm content. I don't expect subscription boxes to be amazing every single month, it's just not possible. What's amazing to one person, is boring to another. This box had a lot of great products in it, a lot that I'm excited to try, but also some that I'm not so excited by. It's still a good box, and good effort from newcomers Violet Box!

Violet Box costs $22.95 per month, and you can purchase it here.

Have you received your Violet Box yet? If so, what did you think? Did you like this month's box?
