I noticed they are still using up some of the old boxes, which is making me even more excited to see what the new packaging is going to look like!
I was a little disappointed this was not full sized, as the full size pack costs less than $10 and I had already gotten the full sized pack in the Lust Have It Eco Box Autumn Edition back in April! (You can read the entire post here.) Either way, I'm still happy to receive these as I did enjoy using these wipes (while they aren't the most amazing ones out there in my own opinion, they were still great!) so I'll get use out of them!
Bioderma Sebium Foaming Gel & Sebium AKN
The card that was included said I should have only received one of these items, but I noticed a few other subscribers ended up with both so not sure what happened there. I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of the Bioderma skin care range at all, everything I've tried has made me break out - and usually my facial skin is pretty tough! (Even a few of my friends had the same problem!) Although this is a pretty good inclusion for people wanting to try Bioderma!
Mary Kay Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover
I've recently tried out some Mary Kay products, so I'm excited to see this included in the box! I will definitely be saving this for my overseas trip in December, since it's travel friendly!
Baji Super Nutri Rescue Eye Serum
I've been on the look out for another eye product to use for ages, but something light enough to use in summer! (When I use something too thick around my eyes, I get a lot of blackheads. Yep, around my eyes. Gross.) This is a pretty natural product judging by the ingredients, so I can't wait to start using it!
L'Oreal Base Magique Primer
I can't even count how many of these samples I've received! I must have hundreds - I keep picking them up from all over the place! In saying that, it's a pretty nice primer so I'm not at all disappointed to see this in here! It will at least get used! (This was actually included in the August Bellabox - a bit of a shame to see it twice in a row though, but luckily it is a good product to use!)
I really like it when Lust Have It! includes brushes! This pencil brush is actually really soft and seems like good quality, and definitely won't be ignored in my brush collection!
L'Oreal Infallible Makeup Foundation in Golden Beige
I've actually been really wanting to try this foundation for a little while, and keep forgetting to swatch it when I'm in store. I was really excited to see this included, but then instantly disappointed when I saw the colour listed as "golden beige." Yeah, not even in my wildest dreams would I ever be that colour! My mother is though so I'll pass this sample on to her.
Another item from last month's Bellabox (see the post here) and funnily enough it was also listed as a bonus item! I don't have the need for feminine hygiene products such as these, so it is a little bit of a disappointment, but good to see that Tom Organic are getting their name out there! Organic is definitely the way to go!
Sneak Peek Alert!
We also got a little card (which on the back had all the details from this month) that every October subscriber will get a full sized Inika product! I'm pretty excited about this, as they are a pretty great brand!
So, overall I was a little underwhelmed by the September Lust Have It! In comparison to the September Bellabox (which you can read here) pretty much anything seemed not so great, so I definitely don't blame the lovely people at Lust Have It! It was a bit sad to see so many doubled up products, but that's just what happens with subscription boxes - you can't win every time, and I definitely don't expect to!
I was still pretty happy with most of the products though, so all in all I feel this box was a success!
Love your post! So interesting!

It's a pretty decent brush, so I'm happy with it! xx
DeleteHaha bonus tampons!
ReplyDeleteThis box seems a bit meh to me, I wish they would have more variety with their samples!
Hahaha! I know, I thought the same thing.. sigh, oh well! xx
DeleteI got pretty much the same box, except I got the BB cream instead of the foundation.
ReplyDeleteOverall I loved mine (although I've yet to see my Bellabox for this month so that might be better).
Aww! I probably would have preferred the BB cream as it would have been a more neutral colour haha! You'll probably like BB better :P

My box this month was pretty good, esp as they threw in an extra mask :) My stockpile of samples is just getting so big and I've only been subbed to LHI since the beginning of the year and BB since July, I can't image what some people have in their cupboards lol You win some, you lose some with sample boxes don't you. I'm looking forward to next months FS Inika product :)
ReplyDeleteHaha so true, I've got SO many samples but aw well! I'm also looking forward to next month! Should be exciting! xx
DeleteWe pretty much got exactly the same thing (except I got the BB cream). The brush is awesome. I love it. The post you did on the Bellabox contents was pretty awesome. Sometimes subscription boxes are a hit and miss, I wish there was more of a consistency :(
ReplyDeleteThe Bellabox was pretty great, but they don't do it every month sadly! And the same with LHI.. it's great some months and then a little flat sometimes.. :(

great stuff :)
ReplyDeleteThanks hun xx
DeleteThe eye cream looks promising, and so does the Mary Kay makeup remover. I'm probably really late on the bandwagon, but since when did LHI cost $20? Or has it always been that price? Nevertheless, this month's box had a good variety of stuff :)
ReplyDeleteHaha yeah it's only upped it's price in the last few months I think! I'm on an annual subscription so it doesn't bother me (since I'm still technically paying the lower amount!) But I do like the look of those two products! xx
DeleteGreat post! I missed out on the lust have it box this month... It looks ok though! I am using Infallible liquid at the moment and it's awesome!!! Let me know what you think of the sample! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks lovely! Ohh that's awesome, I'll have to check it out in a shade that actually suits me haha! xx
DeleteYou will love the Mary Kay eye makeup remover! I've already finished mine :)
