I've compiled a list of my top 4 products to help rejuvenate yourself back to full health and beauty. Each product is easy to use, easy to source and pretty darn relaxing.
I've chosen four products; two for your face, one for your body and one for your hair. Whatever rejuvenation you need, look no further.
Weleda Arnica Muscle Soak*
If you're anything like me, you ran yourself ragged this holiday season cooking, cleaning and hauling presents. Oh and I did all of that in between working full time. So needless to say my body is pretty tired, and ready to get back into it's normal routine. Nothing helps calm me down like a good bath. The Weleda Arnica Muscle Soak is the perfect blend of essential oils to help you really relax. Once a week and your muscles will thank you. You can read my full review here.
The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil*
With all of that cooking and cleaning, my skin became pretty dry. Not to mention all those nights my makeup came to bed with me. Usually I suffer from oily skin, which has been gradually improving thanks to a combination of products, so usually a facial oil would be completely ignored. However, putting this on just before bed for a few nights a week really helps bring balance back to my skin. Also it smells amazing. Just sayin'.
With all the stress of Christmas and New Years; along with the intensive heat wave suffered here in Melbourne, my skin decided it would also be the perfect time to begin breaking out. Thanks skin. To combat this, I've been using the Keep Your Cool calming mask throughout the season and since to help keep those nasty breakouts under control. The best thing about this mask is that you can apply whenever you want, it dries on the skin dry and you don't even need to really remove it. I just pat off the excess with some tissue and leave the rest to do it's magic. I usually do this before bed time but it can even be used under makeup if you're running short on time.
I in fact just did a full review on this product, so I won't rant too much. My hair has been feeling lifeless and flat throughout the holidays, either being washed too many times in a row in an attempt to make it look nice, or too many days reliant on dry shampoo when I had no time. My shampoo schedule was completely out of whack. This Hair & Me Treatment has helped completely refresh my hair and it's looking clean and healthy again. You can read my full review here.
Bath bombs from Lush! Great for having a deep soak/drowning after a long hard day.
ReplyDeleteI've been searching for a facial oil for sometime now. Might have to check out that one by The Body Shop. Also that mask sounds heavenly! I'm really loving the Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask at the moment. It sounds similar to the mask you talked about but it's a green clay mask, I highly recommend it! <3
ReplyDeleteThe Body Shop Oils of Life looks so interesting! I like the result of Formula 10.0.6 masks but I always feel as though they have a burning sensation after application
ReplyDeleteOh God yes... I have soooo many of them that need using hehe xx
ReplyDeleteOhhh Green Clay Mask, sounds intriguing! I'll have to give it a go I think! xx
ReplyDeleteOh no that's not good. I've had other people tell me the same. I guess it's not for everyone :(
ReplyDeleteI've only tried hair and me, and my hair loves it!! Very curious about Oils of life!! I'll have to check it out!
