Hair Removal Solutions

Hair Removal Solutions - Sweetaholic Beauty

With summer in full swing, I'm beginning to take more care than usual when it comes to hair removal. Personally, I'm a sleek skin kinda gal. No hair is the way to go for me. Other people prefer to keep their body hair or some of their body hair, which I'm also totally cool with. But for those of you who prefer to remove, this is the post for you.

Hair Removal Solutions - Sweetaholic Beauty

I've put together a few of my favourite products when it comes to hair removal. This is for all different parts of the body, not just legs. This post may get a little TMI (hey, we are talking about hair removal!) so you've been warned.

Tweezerman Tweezers*

I love my Tweezermans; they're incredibly good quality so you know they're strong and sturdy. I use these to pluck rogue hairs that pop up between my eyebrows, on my chin or other strange parts of the body. Whilst I find them a tad icky, it's just hormones so I'm not too bothered. These tweezers pluck 'em out as painlessly as possible.

Schick Hydro Silk & Schick Intuition Razors

These are my two go-to leg razors. I do prefer the Hydro Silk as it's easier to use on an every day basis, but the Intuition is perfect for a more luxurious shave and helps maintain moisture in your skin. I also shave my arms (not ashamed to admit that) and I find the Hydro Silk is much easier to navigate that area. You can read my respective reviews on the Hydro Silk here and the Intuition here.

Schick Hydro Silk TrimStyle Razor*

This baby is made specifically for your bikini zone, and is actually battery operated at one end to make life a bit easier. Men have a very similar version of this for their facial hair - but turns out the lady one is cheaper so we're not missing out. Depending on what your hair preferences are - down there - this razor will accommodate for all and makes it a pretty simple process. It can also be used on your legs and underarms too.

Bump Eraiser

Now, I don't know about you, but sometimes when I shave certain areas of my body *ahem bikini zone* my body likes to reward me with some lovely in-grown hairs. This is a time when the tweezers can come in handy, except that your bikini area is pretty sensitive and not a great area to go digging around with sharp tools. I've been using Bump Eraiser ever since I heard of it's existence a few years ago and I have been loving it. This keeps those nasty in-grown hairs at bay. Definitely worth a try if you are prone to them like me.

Waxaway Ready to Use Wax Strips*
Okay so I'm not a wax kinda girl, as you might have already guessed. However, I do find these ready to use wax strips super easy and quick. Just showered and shaved and realised you've got a huuuuuge strip of hair at the back of your leg that you've missed, and you gotta be out of the house in five minutes? Bam - Waxaway to the rescue. I've had to do this on a few occasions and they work really well. It's not something I would use all the time, but it's a great backup solution!

So there you have it, just a few of my favourite hair removing equipment. Do you have any favourite hair removing products? If so, what are they? Do you use any of the above products?
