Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Scrub *

If you read my blog regularly, then you'll know I'm a huge fan of facial scrubs. I more often using a scrub than a cream or liquid cleanser, as I feel it gives me a better effect!

When I was asked to review the Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Scrub, of course I jumped on the idea! I've been really loving my other Neutrogena products at the moment, and I was in the market for a new scrub, so this was perfect timing.

Neutrogena boasts that their Fresh Foaming Scrub cleanses and exfoliates gently, yet efficiently. What I love about this scrub is that it's soap and oil free, which means it's perfect for those with sensitive skin, or with slightly (or not so slightly) oily skin, like myself.

At first, the scent was a bit strange, it almost smelt a little bit like soap, but not to the point where it was bad. After a little while I grew used to the smell, and it became a pleasant experience to put something that didn't smell like flowers all over my face! (Not that I don't like putting things that smell like flowers on my face, of course!)

The formula is made up of a light liquid filled with orange micro beads. The micro beads are not harsh at all, but very soothing on the skin. I found no irritation at all when I started using this scrub, and found that it really helped clear my skin up quickly, and kept it from becoming too oily again. The texture is extremely gentle, much unlike any traditional scrubs that can leave your skin red and raw. I would definitely say this is a scrub for the sensitive.

After using the scrub for a solid few weeks, I have to say I'm extremely impressed! I have a few other cleansers I need to review, but I'm hesitant to give this one up and try a new one! I've also started using this with the matching Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser, and using both products, and I have to say my skin is looking amazing. I'll be posting a review on that shortly, so stay tuned!

Overall, I'm so pleased with this scrub, I don't want to stop using it! I would absolutely recommend it to anybody with sensitive skin, or oily skin, as it works so well at removing the dirt without clogging pores, which leads to less break-outs for me! A 125ml tube will set you back a mere $11.99, which is definitely great value.

Have you tried the Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Scrub yet? If so, what did you think?
