I've been so behind with my skin care reviews, and the reason behind it is that I've been loving my recent regime so much I didn't want to review it! (Because once I review, I'll move on to something new!)
Lately I've been using the Johnson's Face Care Daily Essentials Nourishing Cream Wash and Daily Essentials Gentle Exfoliating Wash. During winter my skin tends to act up a little bit, so I switched to two cleansers - a cream cleanser to really clean my skin, and an exfoliating cleanser to remove any dead skin! I find that using two cleansers with different benefits has really helped me skin!
Johnson's Face Care Daily Essentials Nourishing Cream Wash
The Cream Wash says it's specifically designed for dry skin. At first glance I decided I was probably not going to try this, as I definitely don't have dry skin. But I decided to give it a go regardless, for the sake of blogging, and was actually pleasantly surprised by the results! My face has been less oily due to the colder weather, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it was dry, and yet this cream wash did wonders!
The Cream Wash is designed to clean the skin while still leaving it feeling soft and nourished. After using this, I definitely felt my skin feeling extremely soft, and without losing any moisture. I think this would work well for people with dry skin, but I also think it would work fine for people with normal skin as well, so I'm happy that I've given it a go. It didn't break me out at all, and my skin had no trouble adjusting to the new skin regime. The scent was also really lovely, and like the other Johnson's skin products I've used, has the slight scent of baby powder!
Johnson's Face Care Daily Essentials Gentle Exfoliating Wash
The Exfoliating Wash is designed for all skin types, and instantly I was drawn to using it. If you've followed my blog for a while, then you'll know my favourite type of cleanser is an exfoliating cleanser, so this was the one for me!
The exfoliating beads are extremely micro! This was definitely not one of those rough and intense exfoliating washes, but more of a soft and gentle wash. The scent was really similar to the other Johnson's products also, and this one left my skin feeling really clean and tight - in a good way! I think the fact that it was such a gentle exfoliate means that truly any skin type could use it, and it would go really well with sensitive skin.
Both cleansers will set you back about $8.99 each, which is amazing value from a trusted brand! I'll definitely be purchasing these again at some point, as this was definitely a winning duo for my skin! Of course everyone has different skin, but I personally loved both of these as separate cleansers and as a duo!
Both products were kindly provided for my consideration.
I didn't even know Johnson did face care products until this post - thanks for sharing, definitely worth a look! I've been looking for a gentle no frills cleanser for a while now.

I've always seen this products around but never thought anything of them! I love cream cleansers as regular ones dry out my skin and makes it feel tight :( I like how it's suitable for sensitive skin too, and at $9 I think I'm sold and might have a go look at it the next time I'm out :)
ReplyDeleteI feel bad as I hadn't even noticed it before! The cream cleanser definitely didn't make my skin feel tighter but the exfoliating one did, so you're probably best looking at just the cream one :D
DeleteHope you enjoy it if you do end up trying it!
xx

I don't think it's a new release actually! I agree though, I grew up with Johnson's as well so it has a really nice scent that reminds me of when I was a kid :)
