October Lust Have It!

As I'm sure you've all heard, Lust Have It! has been surrounded by a little bit of controversy recently. It seems their monthly boxes are coming later and later in the month, mine only arriving yesterday! A lot of people are dropping out of the subscription, but I'm going to stay with it, as I just love receiving subscriptions in the post, and sadly Australia only has two consistent ones at the moment! Us poor Aussies can't catch a break!

As always, I received the Fun and Flirty box this month. This month didn't come with the gorgeous colour bag like usual, but a little see through pink bag instead, in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

All of the goodies together.

Star & Rose White Bath Fizzer

I'll start with the positives. Firstly, I love bath fizzers. You can never go wrong with one! It also smells delicious, so I have a feeling it will be a very lovely bath time! Also, this is a full sized product, so no complaining there. Unfortunately, this has no tags or branding on it whatsoever, which means no ingredients, etc. A little bit disappointing, but for me, I think the good outweighs the bad in this case.

NYX Cosmetics Girls Nail Polish

Again, let's go with positives first. NYX is a pain to get in Australia, so that is definitely a plus. I've tried NYX polishes before and love them, so again I'm pleased! This is also another full sized product, a make-up product at that, so I'm happy. Sadly for me, I got a bit of a boring colour. Black. Plain old black! I would have liked a pretty pink or something along those lines, but I got black. Don't get me wrong, I love black, it just seemed a little boring!

Mask in a Cup Facial Mask

This is something I would have loved, if I didn't get the one meant for dry skin. When I signed up for Lust Have It, I signed up to say that I have oily/combination skin. Definitely not dry skin. I would have been a lot happier with the "normal skin" cup, which others received, for at least that would have been closer to my actual skin type. Sadly, this is a bust.

Eau Thermale Avene Cleanance Anti-Shine Regulating Lotion

Sadly, the card did not give a lot of description for the Avene products provided this month, so there will be some researched involved before I put this on my skin. I presume it's a moisturiser/lotion but I can never be too sure!

Eau Thermale Avene Cleanance Cream Exfoliant
I'm assuming from the name that this is an exfoliant. I'll be doing some research just to double check though, as names can sometimes be very cryptic, especially with Avene!

Eau Thermale Avene Cleanance Gel Cleanser

Like my friend Chelsea from Super Purdy mentioned in her post for this month's Lust Have It, the subscription box really does seem to have an ongoing love affair with Avene. At first I was super okay with it, not minding at all that I was getting something new every single month. But, now it's beginning to get a bit frustrating, as some of the time it's doubling up with Bellabox, and I'm getting two of the same anti-aging cleansers, which I don't really need. Either way, this seems to be a different range at least, so I'll be okay with trying it out!

Caron Waxaway Ready to Use Sensitive Wax Strips

Firstly, I'm happy they sent the sensitive ones! Better than everyone can try them and not just few of us who aren't sensitive. A few people have been unhappy that there were only four, which is fair. It is a bit silly to send only four, but I'm not fussed about it really. I'm happy to give them a go and see how the fare!

Coupons

Firstly a coupon for Harvest Box. Pretty happy with this, and very willing to give it a go! Probably something I'll use for work snacks from now on, instead of munching on chocolate!
Secondly, a customer appreciation for Adorn Mineral Cosmetics, for $15 to spend! Not sure why this is here, as we didn't get anything Adorn in this box, but okay! I'm not complaining!

So, overall, I feel this month's Lust Have It! was a bit of a disappointment. Like most ladies said, it seemed to be put together really quickly and without any thought (or any effort to actually read our profiles first) so this was disappointing. I've heard a lot of people will be unsubscribing, but I will be sticking with them for now, just to see how they end up. I feel that they could have done a lot more to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness month, but I'm not overly stressed about it.

Either way, I'm hoping they'll take on all the constructive critisism they have received due to the delay this month. I'm happy they've kept us in the loop, so I'm excited to see what they'll have in store next month, and see if they'll up their game a little bit!

So, what did you think of this month's Lust Have It? box?
