Australian Favourites

aus1

Happy Australia Day to all my Aussie readers! Usually I work every Australia Day, but this year I was lucky enough to have the day off. I decided that in the spirit of the holiday, I would share just a few of my favourite Australian brands. There are so many amazing brands, so this is just a glimpse into the wide world of awesome Aussie brands.

All the goodies I've decided to feature!

aus3

Picture Polish Nail Polishes

Starting out as an indie nail polish brand, Picture Polish have grown incredibly popular very quickly. The quality of these polishes is beyond amazing, and I've always been incredibly impressed. Starting at only $11 a bottle, these are also super inexpensive. You can find out more about Picture Polish here.

aus4

Models Prefer

A brand that I love, although I don't have a lot of their products. I have a few of their brushes, which I find to be very good quality. A huge favourite of mine is the cream eye brush, which works really well! I also have about 50 of their eyeliners, as they are my Holy Grail for every day use. Another super cool product from Models Prefer is the Infinite Colour Lip Liner, which is fantastic to use with any colour lipstick. There are so many awesome products from Models Prefer, so you can either pop into a Priceline, or check them out here.

aus5

Ulta 3

This has to be one of my favourite nail polish brands. At only $2 a bottle and over 100 available colours, your choices are endless. I have so many of these bottles it's hard to keep track. The quality of the older shades can be a little hit and miss, but their new releases just keep getting better and better. Ulta 3 hasn't stopped at their awesome nail polish either, they've actually introduced a range of other beauty products. You can read a review of their beautiful lip paints here. You can find out more about Ulta 3 here.

aus6

Face of Australia

A standout Aussie brand, Face of Australia is definitely one of my favourites. A must have for me are their limited edition nail polish collections - something I feel like I always have to collect because they are always so gorgeous. You can read a review of their Carnivale nail polish collection here. I was also really impressed recently by the Glamazon kits. You can read a full review here. I also felt the need to collect all the Glossy Lip Crayons, which is also something I'd recommend to anyone. You can check out Face of Australia here.

aus7

Savvy by DB

Another discount brand available from Priceline, Savvy by DB has some real winning products. Their baked products are particularly good; the mineral baked bronzer is my favourite. Their baked blushes are also truly gorgeous. I recently tried out their mini lipsticks, which I was really impressed with. You can read my full review of their mini lipstick collection here. You can find out more about Savvy by DB here.

aus8

Shanghai Suzy

Some of the greatest lipsticks around, I'm so proud to call Shanghai Suzy an Australian brand. Creamy and consistent, these lipsticks are amazing and come in a huge range of beautiful colours. They also made it into my 2014 Favourites. I ended up with the entire summer collection. You can find out more about Shanghai Suzy here.

aus9

Chi Chi Cosmetics

One of my all time favourite Aussie brands, Chi Chi has been impressing me for a while now. They really hit it out of the park when they started releasing their palettes; they started with just a few but have extended their range a fair bit over the past few months. I have collected most of them, and am keen to try out the others. Their lipsticks are also stunning, I have a few of them but really should grab some more. I also love their blusher and bronzer palettes, one of my favourites being the mosaic blusher. You can find out more about Chi Chi here.

aus10

Australis Cosmetics

Australis has really increased their quality of the last few years, and so it's probably my most favourite brand. With their release of the Velourlips, they took Australia by storm. You can read my review of their second release shades here. They then released the AC On Tour Contouring & Highlighting Kit which sold out within days. A personal favourite of mine is the Multi Mega Lash mascara. You can find out more about Australis here.

aus11

People for Plants

A fairly new organic brand, I was really impressed when I tried out the People for Plants range. Two of my favourites are the Body Scrub* and the Mist Toner. They have a huge range of other organic products, and are definitely worth checking out. You can find out more about them here.

aus12

Puretopia

A brand that I only tried out when I received it free in a promotion, I'm regretting not trying this earlier! Puretopia have a fair amount of products, all of which I have liked when I tried. I have repurchased the Body Polish a few times now, as it's one of my favourite body scrubs that I always go back to. The Face Scrub is also really lovely, and would definitely recommend trying it out. You can find out more about Puretopia here.

While this is only a select few of some amazing Australian products, I still think they're great products that every Aussie should try out!

Have you tried any of the above products? If so, what are your thoughts? What are your favourite Aussie brands? Let me know so I can try them out!
